Ruben Amorim has declared that Manchester United has a lot of work to do despite winning the premier league summer series, Softfootball reports.
The pre-season tournament which took place in the United States witnessed the Red Devils beating West Ham 2-1, Bournemouth 4-1 before drawing 2-2 against Everton, thereby finishing on top by just a point over the Hammers.

Speaking after the game against the Toffees in Atlanta, USA, Amorim told Manchester United official club media that his side needs to improve on various aspects of the game regardless of the positive results so far. But he was happy with the performance of new signing, Bryan Mbeumo.
He said:
“We had two weeks – this will not change in two weeks, but we are better… I think the momentum of the tour was perfect.
“Of course, one team can also always improve with more players, but we have players to make that competition. We need to improve as a team. We have potential to to improve with our players + I’m really happy with the squad.”

Manchester United fans had the opportunity of seeing Bryan Mbeumo play for the first time since his £71 million move from Brentford this summer and he impressed the manager.
He explained:
“I think he played well.
“Of course, he needs to improve in a lot of things.
“You can feel the physicality of Bryan is not perfect, that is normal, but the first touch, the way he turns and connects to the other guys, the runs that he made, it is really important.
“And he is going to be really important to our team.”
Manchester United return to England where they would face Serie A side Fiorentina at Old Trafford before the resumption of the Premier League. The Red Devils’ first game will be at home against last season’s runners-up, Arsenal on August 17.
