Vinicius Junior has returned to training and is expected to feature for Brazil national football team in their upcoming friendly against Croatia national football team.

The 24-year-old forward had started Brazil’s 2-1 defeat to France national football team but was absent from training the following day, sparking fears over his fitness. However, those concerns have now been eased, with Vinicius expected to be available for selection.

His return will be a major boost for Brazil as they continue preparations ahead of the upcoming FIFA World Cup, with head coach Carlo Ancelotti closely monitoring his condition.

According to Fabrizio Romano via his official x handle, the Real Madrid star has recovered from a minor muscle discomfort that briefly raised concerns earlier in the international break.

Softfootball understands Real Madrid will also be relieved by the positive update, as they rely heavily on Vinicius heading into a crucial period of the season across domestic and European competitions.

With fitness regained, all eyes will be on Vinicius as he looks to make an impact in Brazil’s next outing.
