Softfootball earlier reported this season that the skipper had warned fans and teammates that this campaign would be a difficult one for Liverpool and that prediction is proving true. Despite the disappointing run, Van Dijk’s leadership and measured words suggest that the Reds remain focused on turning their season around.

The PL champions will be hoping to bounce back as soon as possible and avoid setting an unwanted record with another loss. Liverpool official X handle also shared other messages from key players to the fans in hope that this would rally them to comeback stronger. They posted;

Liverpool are now set to face Eintracht Frankfurt next in Uefa Champions league , a fixture that could either compound their struggles or mark the beginning of a much-needed revival. With Van Dijk at the helm, fans will be hoping his call for calm translates into a renewed sense of belief and purpose on the pitch.
