Turkish Super Lig side Trabzonspor are preparing to revive their pursuit of Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu during the January transfer window.
Softfootball understands that the Nigerian forward remains a top transfer target for the Black Sea Storm after an impressive loan spell with the club last season.

Onuachu enjoyed a prolific campaign in Turkey, scoring 17 goals and providing four assists in 25 appearances to establish himself as one of the league’s standout forwards.
Trabzonspor attempted to sign the 30-year-old on a permanent basis during the summer transfer window, but Southampton rejected their €7 million bid, reportedly valuing the striker at around €15 million.
Since returning to St. Mary’s, Onuachu has struggled for playing time, making just four appearances and accumulating only 42 minutes of action across all competitions this season.
The former KRC Genk striker joined Southampton in January 2023, but with limited opportunities under his current manager, a January move back to Turkey could provide him with the regular football he needs.
