Arsenal defender Jurrien Timber has called on his teammates to raise their level against Manchester United in the FA Cup, following a disappointing Carabao Cup semi-final defeat to Newcastle.
The Gunners host United in the third round on Sunday, looking to bounce back quickly from their midweek setback.

Softfootball reports that Timber addressed the significance of the fixture while speaking via the club’s official website. He said:
It was already a big game because United always is. We want to win and give the fans something to celebrate so we are going to give our all on Sunday. Every competition is really important. We want to win everything.
Timber also reflected on Arsenal’s recent meeting with United earlier in the season, insisting familiarity won’t make Sunday’s clash any easier. He added:
We played them already a month ago so we know what we are getting. They have a good squad with a lot of good players. It is not going to be easy but we will be ready.
