Le Mans recently confirmed that Brazilian investment fund Outfield has become the majority shareholder after previously acquiring a minority stake during the summer investment round, which also attracted several high-profile sports figures.

The French side are currently fifth in the Ligue 2 standings, just three points behind leaders ES Troyes AC, keeping promotion hopes alive.

Courtois is not the first Real Madrid player to step into club ownership. His teammate Kylian Mbappé purchased SM Caen in 2024, while Vinícius Júnior has also been linked to similar ventures.

Elsewhere, Mbappé has reportedly testified against Gianluca Prestianni over alleged racist abuse directed at Vinícius Júnior during Real Madrid’s February 17, 2026 UEFA Champions League clash with S.L. Benfica.

In the Premier League, Arsenal F.C. surrendered a 2–0 lead to draw 2–2 with Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C., raising fresh concerns over their consistency despite leading the table up to Matchweek 26.
