France international, Aurélien Tchouaméni has declared that he plans to stay at Real Madrid for a very long time, Softfootball reports.

The midfielder has endured some difficult spells at the Bernabeu club in recent seasons but under new manager Xabi Alonso, he has been a regular feature for the side. Real Madrid has enjoyed a 100% start to the season with the last game ending in a 2-1 victory over Real Sociedad.

In an interview shared by Fabrizio Romano through his official X handle, Tchouaméni revealed that he wants to win more titles with the Los Blancos and stay with the club as long as he can. He said:

I hope to play at Real Madrid for long time!.

We always feel the pressure, its normal when you’re at Real Madrid. We will try to give everything and win many titles. This is what we have to do at Real Madrid.

Tchouaméni will again hope to start for Real Madrid when they host Olympique de Marseille on Tuesday, a opponent he knows a lot about having faced them many times during his spells at Bordeaux and AS Monaco before he moved to Spain. Tchouameni will come up against France teammate, Benjamin Pavard who joined Marseille this summer.

The French star is an exceptional ball-winner and strong in tackling, interceptions, and aerial duels, that is why under Carlo Ancelotti he was deployed to play as a center-back in a lot of matches despite not liking the role.

Alonso enjoys working with Tchouaméni because he reads the game excellently with his sharp anticipation and quick reactions that allow him to recover possession with high frequency and break up opposition attacks effectively.

Real Madrid are currently top of LaLiga with 12 points after four straight wins, two points above bitter rivals Barcelona.
