Edmond Tapsoba is redefining the centre-back role after reaching six goal contributions this Bundesliga season for Bayer 04 Leverkusen, Softfootball reports.
The defender has scored four goals and provided two assists, making him the most decisive centre-back across Europe’s top five leagues.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the milestone via his official x handle, with growing interest in Tapsoba ahead of the summer transfer window. Despite the attention, Leverkusen view him as untouchable and a cornerstone of their squad.

Romano stated:
Edmond Tapsoba has now reached 6 G/A in Bundesliga this season. 4 goals, 2 assists for Bayer 04 centre back who attracts interest for the summer window, seen as key player by Leverkusen.
His performances have been crucial at both ends of the pitch, helping Leverkusen secure dominant victories, including a commanding 4–0 win showcasing their technical superiority.
Meanwhile, earlier in february Leverkusen were already planning for the future after reaching a verbal agreement to sign teenage striker Aleksa Damjanović from Red Star Belgrade.
Elsewhere, Arsenal FC delivered a statement performance with a 4–0 FA Cup victory over Wigan Athletic FC, while Chelsea FC matched the scoreline with a dominant win against Hull City AFC.
