Liverpool FC delivered a commanding 3–0 victory over Brighton & Hove Albion, with Dominik Szoboszlai emerging once again as the standout performer of the 2025/2026 season.
Szoboszlai made it 2–0 in the 56th minute, just 11 minutes after the restart, finishing off a fluid attacking move that highlighted Liverpool’s intensity and control. His goal shifted the momentum firmly in Liverpool’s favour and underlined his growing importance to the team.
Softfootball gathered, many supporters as well as his team mate Mo salah are now calling him Liverpool’s difference-maker this season. Meanwhile, Mohamed Salah was also on the scoresheet and provided an assist, much to the delight of Liverpool fans.

Consecutive wins against Sunderland and Brighton, a side that historically has caused Liverpool problems, show clear progress in structure and mentality.
Liverpool still in the FA Cup, like Chelsea who recently defeated Hull City 4–0 in their cup encounter, now has a momentum to fight for the FA cup title, as well as the epl top 4.
Momentum is building at Anfield, and if Szoboszlai continues at this level, Liverpool’s season could still end on a high note.
