The Super Eagles camp in Uyo continues to gather momentum as more players arrive ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying clash against Madagascar.
Captain Wilfred Ndidi is currently en route to Uyo and is expected to join his teammates as preparations intensify for the September 25 encounter at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman has already arrived and linked up with the squad. The Atlético Madrid forward will be one of the key attacking options available to head coach Éric Chelle for Nigeria’s opening Group L qualifier.

These players will join Chelle and the squad members already in camp as Nigeria continue preparations at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
Awoniyi’s arrival is particularly notable, as he replaces injured Victor Osimhen and will be among the forwards expected to step up in the Galatasaray striker’s absence.
Nigeria will host Madagascar on Friday, September 25, in their opening AFCON 2027 qualifying fixture. With more players arriving, Chelle is gradually assembling the bulk of his squad for full training and tactical sessions.
