Super Eagles winger Moses Simon continued his impressive start to the season by providing an assist in Nantes’ 1-1 draw against Nice in Sunday’s Ligue 1 encounter.
Softfootball added that the Nigerian international once again proved his importance to Nantes, creating the opening goal with a moment of quality as the Canaries earned a valuable point against one of the league’s in-form sides.
Simon, who was making his eighth league appearance of the campaign, has now registered two goals and an assist for Nantes this season.
The hosts broke the deadlock in the 67th minute when Simon delivered a precise pass to Matthis Abline, who calmly finished to give Nantes the advantage.

However, the lead lasted only five minutes as Nice responded through Evann Guessand, whose low strike beat goalkeeper Alban Lafont to restore parity in the 72nd minute.
Both sides pushed for a late winner, creating opportunities at either end, but neither team could find the decisive breakthrough before the final whistle.
The draw leaves Nantes with another valuable point as they continue their quest for consistency in the French top flight, while Simon’s creative display further underlined his influence in the team’s attacking play this season.
