FC Bayern Munich have suffered a major setback after Serge Gnabry was ruled out for the remainder of the 2025/26 season with a torn adductor injury in his right thigh, Softfootball reports.
The injury comes just months after Gnabry committed his long-term future to Bayern, signing a contract extension until June 2028. Since joining from Werder Bremen in 2017, he has been a key figure in one of the club’s most successful eras, recording over 160 goal contributions in more than 300 appearances.

According to Fabrizio Romano on his x handle, The German international is expected to be sidelined for around three months, with concerns also growing that he could miss the upcoming FIFA World Cup.
Germany’s medical staff reportedly believe the timeline makes his participation highly unlikely.

Their recent quarter-final triumph over Real Madrid despite a goal from Kylian Mbappé underlined their strong form as they continue their push for a potential treble.
