AC Milan legend Dejan Savicevic believes new manager Sergio Conceicao is the right coach to help Chelsea loanee Joao Felix rediscover his best form at the Italian club.
Felix completed a loan move to AC Milan on the final day of the January transfer window after struggling to establish himself as a regular at Chelsea.
The Portuguese forward will now look to make an immediate impact at San Siro, and Savicevic is confident that Conceicao can help him fulfil his potential.
Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Milan great backed Felix to thrive under the guidance of his fellow Portuguese coach.
I definitely think so. In any case, there is a coach, Sergio (Conceicao) seems to me to be the right man, especially for Joao Felix, who is a great talent and needs to be recovered.
I have seen him in action, how he moves, how he dribbles and participates in the game, the player is there.
Savicevic also believes the shared language and footballing background between Felix and Conceicao could help the forward settle quickly at the club.
Felix will now hope to repay the faith placed in him by AC Milan as he begins the latest chapter of his career in Serie A.
