Arsenal fans are facing yet another bitter reality this season, and D Real Kombo didn’t hold back in his latest video on youtube channel discussing the mounting pressure on Mikel Arteta.

“I see a lot of Arsenal fans angrily calling for the sack of Mikel Arteta. And to be sincere with you, I understand. I understand it. Disappointment is becoming too much,”

he said. The pundit stressed how the Gunners keep fans hopeful, only for crucial matches to slip through their fingers.

“That match lost yesterday was unnecessary. Sincere In all sincerity, that loss yesterday against Southampton was unnecessary, right? And you are right to blame the manager. You are right to blame Arteta. You are right to say Arteta should be gone,”

D Real Kombo added, echoing the growing calls among fans.

The pundit highlighted the importance of mentality in championship football, contrasting Arsenal with Manchester City.

“Look at Manchester City. These guys had a very, very terrible season. But you see that mentality of champions… Now that they know, okay, it’s going to be difficult for them to win the league, look at how they’re performing in cup competitions. Look at what they did to Liverpool,”

he said.

Softfootball reported that City’s dominance over Arsenal, especially in cup competitions, has been a harsh reminder for Gunners fans. Manchester City had previously beaten Arsenal 2-0 in the Carabao Cup final, with Nico O’Reilly scoring twice, while Southampton shocked Arsenal in another surprise setback, crushing the club’s trophy hopes further.

D Real Kombo didn’t mince words on Arteta’s situation.

“I believe that if Arteta does not win the league title… if they sack him, in as much as I like him, I will it is 100 percent justified. Arsenal, Arsenal needs to… Their mentality needs to change. Arteta needs to find a way to improve the mentality of the… team.”

He concluded with a sobering note for the season ahead: without the Premier League title, the campaign could feel indistinguishable from Manchester United’s underwhelming efforts.

“You cannot even beat your chest and say, ‘Oh, we’re gonna win the Champions League.’”

Arsenal’s trophy drought continues to weigh heavily on fans, and D Real Kombo’s words reflect the harsh reality: the league title is now the only measure of redemption for Arteta and his side.
