Chelsea coach Liam Rosenior has accused Arsenal staff of showing a lack of respect during the warm-up session ahead of the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final at the Emirates Stadium.

Chelsea went on to lose the tie 1–0 in the EFL Cup second-leg clash, but information reaching Softfootball indicates Rosenior was furious even before kick-off. The Chelsea coach was angered after members of Arsenal’s coaching staff reportedly entered the section of the pitch designated for Chelsea’s warm-up.

Cameras caught Rosenior confronting the situation, shouting at Arsenal staff and demanding they remain within their allocated area. He believes the incident disrupted both his players and coaching team during a crucial phase of pre-match preparation.

Rosenior stressed that there is an ethic in football that requires teams to respect each other’s space on the pitch, particularly during warm-ups, and felt that line was crossed ahead of the high-stakes semi-final encounter.
