Remo Stars FC are set to finally return home as the second stanza of the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) gets underway, following the completion of extensive renovation works at the Remo Stars Stadium.
Softfootball gathered, the Sky Blue Stars will host Ikorodu City FC on the weekend of January 14, marking their first home fixture of the season at the refurbished stadium. The club had been forced to play away from home earlier in the campaign while upgrade works were ongoing.

The return to Ikenne is expected to provide a major boost for Remo Stars, who currently sit 16th on the NPFL table with 22 points, as they look to climb away from the lower end of the standings in the second half of the season.
With improved facilities and the backing of their home fans, Remo Stars will be hoping the stadium return can spark a turnaround in form and help stabilize their NPFL campaign as the league enters a decisive phase.
