Tijjani Reijnders is confident AC Milan have what it takes to get past Juventus this weekend, even with a top-eight finish the club’s stated priority for the season rather than an outright title challenge.
The Dutch midfielder addressed the fixture sounding upbeat despite Milan’s inconsistent recent form in Serie A.

Softfootball learnt that Reijnders also touched on his own future at the club amid interest from elsewhere in Europe, saying:
I’m confident for the match against Juve. We have our destiny in our hands, our goal however is to finish in the top eight. We are discussing the renewal at the moment but I can’t say more. However, I see myself at Milan until my thirties.
Reijnders has emerged as one of Milan’s most important midfielders since arriving from AZ Alkmaar, and reports have linked him with several of Europe’s biggest clubs.
With talks over a new deal ongoing and a big derby ahead, Reijnders looks settled on staying at Milan for the long haul rather than chasing a move elsewhere.
