Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has called for patience as highly-rated South Korean youngster Yang Min-hyeok prepares to join the club in January, softfootball reports.
The 18-year-old winger completed his move to Spurs during the summer and is expected to link up with the squad when the winter transfer window opens.
Postecoglou explained that Yang is part of Tottenham’s long-term rebuilding project, stressing that the teenager will need time to adapt to the demands of the Premier League and his style of play.

Postecoglou told the club’s official website.
“We have a few players in their peak years, but many others who will grow into that over the next few seasons. Hopefully, those 18-year-olds develop with the team and gradually break through.
“We’ve deliberately invested in younger players because we’re at the start of a new cycle. At this stage, they’ll have opportunities to develop and contribute.
“With Yang, he’s an 18-year-old coming from a completely different part of the world and a different league. It’s a much bigger step than, for example, Archie Gray moving from the Championship to the Premier League.
“We have to be mindful of the expectations we place on someone like him, but we believe he can be a success here.”
