Arsenal defender, Jakub Kiwior is a target for Porto and AC Milan after he was excluded from Gunners matchday squad against Manchester United on Sunday afternoon at Old Trafford, and he could be set to leave before the summer transfer window closes on 1 September.
Softfootball understood that Porto previously submitted an initial bid for Kiwior of a €7m loan fee plus a €20m obligation to buy, but Arsenal rejected the offer as it didn’t meet their reported €35m valuation.

The Poland international made 30 appearances across all competitions last season, however he only started 10 Premier League matches and he has fallen further down the pecking order following the summer signing of Valencia defender Cristhian Mosquera.
Francesco Farioli’s side submitted a loan with an obligation to buy offer in late July and they remain in advanced talks with Arsenal despite seeing their initial bid turned down according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano via his X handle. He wrote:
“FC Porto remain interested in Jakub Kiwior after Arsenal already turned down a bid in July.
He’s always high on Porto list for new CB but Arsenal value Kiwior as important player, not an easy deal.”
AC Milan are also eager to sign Kiwior this summer, amid his uncertain future at the Emirates Stadium, but Porto are determined to win the race for his signature and the deal could be resolved this week.
Arsenal and Mikel Arteta would be happy to keep hold of the defender, but could be tempted into selling if an offer is too good to turn down. Kiwior may also express a desire to leave Emirates Stadium if he is going to struggle for game time this season.
In an earlier post, Softfootball reported that Galatasaray have submitted an opening offer to Porto for goalkeeper Diogo Costa following Fernando Muslera’s departure from the Turkish giants.
