Softfootball understands that Juventus FC are set to hand veteran goalkeeper Carlo Pinsoglio a new contract extension running until June 2027.
The 34-year-old, a Juventus youth product since 2006, has made only five senior appearances but remains a valued figure within the dressing room. His renewal secures his position as third-choice goalkeeper as revealed by football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano on his official X account and also reinforces the club’s emphasis on stability and experienced depth during their ongoing rebuild.
According to Romano:
Carlo Pinsoglio, set to sign new deal at Juventus until June 2027 as third goalkeeper.
The extension also puts to rest recent speculation suggesting Pinsoglio was considering retirement. Instead, Juventus appear keen to retain his leadership qualities and mentorship role for younger players rather than rushing into a major goalkeeping overhaul.
On the pitch, Juventus were involved in a dramatic UEFA Champions League play-off clash against Galatasaray S.K.. The Italian side secured a thrilling 3–2 second-leg victory after trailing 5–2 from the first leg.

Momentum swung their way in the 70th minute when Federico Gatti netted their second goal, before Weston McKennie extended the lead in the 82nd minute to make it 3–0 on the night.
Despite late tension and extra-time drama, Juventus showed resilience in a tie that will be remembered as one of the season’s most intense European battles.
