Wolverhampton Wanderers has announced the appointment of Paul Trollope to their coaching team as part of Rob Edwards’ new backroom staff, Softfootball reports.

Paul Trollope was the assistant manager at Southampton but he has left the club to join Rob Edwards who has returned to Wolves on a long term deal..

The club had an interest in bringing in a new coaching structure that would work hand in hand with Edwards’ vision. Trollope who is 53 years old has a lot of experience to bring to his new club, Wolves.
He has worked with multiple clubs in England including Luton, Brighton, and Nottingham Forest. It was with his assistance that Edward guided Luton Town to promotion during the Championship play-off final.
Now, Trollope and Edwards are reuniting at Wolves to boost the club’s coaching team. This move is a crucial one indeed as it would help Edwards’ reshape the squad both on and off the field.
It marks a fresh phase under Edwards’ leadership that is built on experience, trust and cooperation.
