Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen was back involved in Galatasaray training on Thursday, having missed the club’s Turkish Cup draw with Istanbul Basaksehir due to illness.
The Nigeria international star sat out the 2 – 2 draw as a precaution, with Galatasaray now preparing for a league fixture against the same opponents this weekend.
Softfootball reports that Osimhen appeared in good spirits as he rejoined his teammates ahead of Saturday’s Super Lig clash.
Head Coach Okan Buruk’s side will travel to the Basaksehir Fatih Terim Stadium looking to build on a strong campaign so far, with Victor Osimhen expected to be available for selection following his return to full training.
The striker has continued to impress since his loan move from Napoli, registering 13 goals and five assists in 16 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray this season, making his swift recovery a welcome boost for the teams attacking options.
