Victor Osimhen featured for Galatasaray as the Turkish champions secured a thrilling 4-3 victory over Swedish side Elfsborg on Matchday 3 of the UEFA Europa League on Wednesday.

Osimhen was handed a place in the starting lineup and played a key role in Galatasaray’s attacking display before making way for former Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi in the 86th minute.
Nigerian defender Ibrahim Buhari also featured for Elfsborg and completed the entire 90 minutes despite his side falling to defeat in Istanbul.
The victory extended Galatasaray’s excellent run of form to 10 matches without defeat in all competitions, with the Turkish giants recording eight wins and two draws during that period.
Osimhen headed into the encounter in high spirits after scoring a spectacular bicycle kick in Galatasaray’s 3-0 league victory over Antalyaspor last weekend.
Since arriving on a season-long loan from Napoli, the Super Eagles striker has continued to make a strong impact, contributing three goals and three assists in six appearances across all competitions.
Galatasaray will now look to maintain their momentum as they continue their push for Europa League success while also defending their Turkish Super Lig title.
