Super Eagles of Nigeria striker, Victor Osimhen is expected to arrive Istanbul, Turkey today ahead of his Galatasaray medical scheduled for Thursday, Softfootball reports.
Following a long transfer saga, the Turkish champions agreed to pay his €75 million release clause and provided bank guarantees that ensures they €40million now and €35million at the end of the 2026 season with a 10% sell-on clause.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle, revealed that the former Lille striker will be returning to Turkey today.
He wrote:
“Victor Osimhen will land in Istanbul on Wednesday, all documents are counter-signed!
“Medical on Thursday for Osimhen, back to Galatasaray.”
Osimhen rejected a humongous €700, 000 weekly offer from Al-Hilal to join the Saudi Arabia side before the FIFA Club World Cup but be rejected it as he wanted to stay in Europe after scoring 37 goals in 41 appearances on loan at Galatasaray last season.
The former CAF Player of the Year was determined also not to return to Napoli and the Italian club ensured they got the best deal that suits them. Osimhen refused to show up for pre-season as he waited for Galatasaray to finalise his deal with Napoli.
Both clubs finally agreed on a deal and have already exchanged documents. It’s left for Osimhen to have his medicals and sign his new contract for the Turkish club.
Galatasaray fans would be delighted to have Osimhen back after he helped the club to two domestic triumphs last campaign.
Osimhen is reportedly set to sign a long-term deal with Galatasaray and earn a whopping €16 million annually which automatically makes him one of the best players in Turkey.
Osimhen scored 65 Serie A goals in 108 appearances during his time in Naples, and was the Capocannoniere in the 2022/23 season when he inspired Napoli to their first Scudetto title in 33 years.
