Super Eagles defender Kenneth Omeruo has officially left Turkish Super Lig club Kasimpasa after both parties agreed to terminate his contract, with Softfootball noting that the experienced centre-back is already attracting interest from clubs in the Middle East.
Omeruo endured an injury-hit campaign after suffering a setback during Kasimpasa’s draw against Galatasaray last September, restricting him to only five league appearances before recently returning to fitness.
The 31-year-old enjoyed three spells with the Turkish club, initially arriving on loan from Chelsea before completing a permanent move in 2023.
Across his time at Kasimpasa, Omeruo made 85 appearances, scoring twice and contributing three assists while establishing himself as one of the club’s experienced defensive leaders.
The former Leganes defender is now considering offers from Saudi Arabia and Qatar as he prepares for the next chapter of his career after bringing his long association with Kasimpasa to an end.
