Let’s talk about Oliver Glasner. His story in football management is truly an incredible and inspiring one. Glasner got his first major opportunity in the Bundesliga when he became manager of VfL Wolfsburg. In his first season, he guided Wolfsburg to qualification for the UEFA Europa League.

In his second season, he took the club into the UEFA Champions League before unresolved issues with the sporting director eventually led to his departure.

After leaving Wolfsburg, Glasner moved to Eintracht Frankfurt where he achieved one of the biggest moments of his managerial career.

He guided Frankfurt to the Europa League final, defeated Barcelona along the way, and eventually won the competition. Glasner later joined Crystal Palace and immediately made history by delivering the club’s first major trophy through the FA Cup.

Following the FA Cup triumph, he also helped Crystal Palace win the FA Community Shield, further strengthening his growing reputation as a winning manager.

Now, with Palace reaching the final of the UEFA Europa Conference League, Glasner is once again close to adding another trophy to his impressive record.

Softfootball is 100% sure many clubs will now be looking at Glasner as a serious managerial option for next season because he has consistently proven himself as a winner.

From Wolfsburg to Frankfurt and now Crystal Palace, he has shown an ability to improve teams, compete strongly, and deliver trophies.

Yes, some people believe certain managers perform better only with smaller clubs where pressure is lower, but we believe Glasner has now done enough to deserve consideration from one of Europe’s biggest clubs.
