Shakhtar Donetsk have officially confirmed that they will play their Champions League home matches at Stamford Bridge during the 2026/27 campaign.
Softfootball gathered The Ukrainian club will temporarily use Chelsea’s iconic stadium as their European home, with the agreement providing Shakhtar and their supporters with the opportunity to experience Champions League football in London.
Shakhtar described the arrangement as a “special opportunity” and expressed their gratitude to Chelsea for allowing them to host their matches at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea also confirmed their decision to provide the stadium for Shakhtar’s European campaign, with the club saying they look forward to welcoming the Ukrainian side and working closely with them to ensure matchdays operate safely and smoothly.
