Manchester United have reached a full agreement with RB Leipzig to sign Slovenian striker Benjamin Šeško in a deal worth up to €85 million, Softfootball can confirm.
The total package includes an initial fee of €76.5m with a further €8.5m in potential add-ons. Šeško, 22, has signed a contract with the Red Devils that runs until 2030. Sesko’s deal is Manchester United’s recent signing after Bryan Mbeumo who joined last week.

United moved swiftly to secure the highly rated forward, who had attracted interest from several top European clubs, including Newcastle who were the last competitors.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, he revealed via his verified X handle that the deal has been confirmed with the player set to move into England not later than Friday.
He wrote:
“The add-ons for Benjamin Šeško deal will be very easy to reach, as RB Leipzig wanted.
“Manchester United will pay €76.5m fee plus €8.5m in very easy add-ons, bringing the package up to €85m almost guaranteed.
Šeško, ready to fly to Manchester. ✈️”
Šeško had made it clear earlier this week that Manchester United was the only destination he had in mind, and the club wasted no time finalising the move.
Softfootball gathered that Šeško informed Leipzig of his decision on Tuesday, with personal terms quickly agreed. United then wrapped up negotiations with the German club to activate the release clause.
The former Salzburg man scored 18 goals in all competitions for Leipzig last season and was widely seen as one of the most exciting young attacking talents in Europe.
Šeško will link up with the United squad immediately as pre-season preparations continue ahead of the 2025/26 campaign. The forward is expected to wear the No. 19 shirt.
Sesko is likely to be paraded by Manchester United when they play against Fiorentina on Saturday.
