Liverpool have extended the stay of starlet, Rio Ngumoha at Anfield until 2028, Softfootball can report.
Softfootball understands that this is the first professional contract of Ngumoha at Liverpool.

Ngumoha who broke into the first team this season, having arrived from Chelsea in 2024, has become a subject of keen interest to Arne Slot and the technical team at the Merseyside.
The 16-year-old has been added to Liverpool’s champions league squad following a bright start of the new season that has seen him registered five seniro appearances.
According to Football transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, he shared on his official X handle that the deal proposed by Liverpool and signed by Ngumoha will keep the player for another two seasons.
He wrote:

Before this current height, Ngumoha had featured for the Reds’ U18s, U19s and U21s in 2024-25 and a short senior debut from Arne Slot in an Emirates FA Cup tie with Accrington Stanley in January of this year.
