Neymar’s father has moved to clarify that Al Hilal have made no final decision on his son’s future at the club, despite growing speculation linking the Brazilian with a return to former side Santos.
Softfootball understands that Neymar Snr addressed the rumors directly in a conversation with Roundcast, insisting Al Hilal remain keen on keeping the 32-year-old as his contract situation continues to draw attention across world football.

Speaking on the ongoing speculation, Neymar Snr said:
We’ll wait and see what happens, and how Neymar really feels. He will be free to decide. To have a 32-year-old guy free is a gift for any club.
He confirmed his son will feature for Al Hilal in the newly expanded Club World Cup, pointing to the tournament as a factor in the club’s reluctance to let him go:
All the clubs are going to be there, and Al-Hilal too, they have earned their place there. They already have one of the biggest stars for this kind of tournament,
he added, noting Neymar remains under contract until 2025.
