Newcastle United are reportedly weighing up a potential move for Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze.
According to Softfootball, the Premier League club could make an approach for the AC Milan attacker as they look to strengthen their squad during the January transfer window.
Reports suggest Newcastle are waiting for Miguel Almiron’s proposed move to Major League Soccer to be completed before making formal contact with Milan over Chukwueze.
The Magpies are believed to be considering the Nigeria international as a possible replacement for the Paraguayan winger.
However, Newcastle are not the only club showing interest in Chukwueze. Spanish side Real Sociedad have also reportedly made an approach for the former Villarreal player.
Chukwueze joined AC Milan from Villarreal in 2023 but has struggled to establish himself as a regular starter at the San Siro.
The 25-year-old has scored twice in 18 league appearances for Sergio Conceicao’s team this season.
A move to Newcastle could offer Chukwueze the opportunity to secure more consistent playing time in the Premier League.
