Ahmed Musa was among the scorers as Kano Pillars secured a thrilling 4-3 away victory over Rangers in Wednesday’s Nigeria Premier Football League clash.

Rabiu Ali converted two penalties, while Zulkifilu Rabiu and Musa also found the back of the net before the break, leaving Rangers with a mountain to climb.

Despite a spirited second-half comeback, Rangers fell just short as Isaac Saviour scored twice and Silas Nenrot added another goal for the home side.

Elsewhere, Lobi Stars surrendered a two-goal advantage in a 2-2 draw against El-Kanemi Warriors, Nasarawa United cruised to a 3-0 victory over Abia Warriors thanks to Anas Yusuf’s hat-trick, Kwara United defeated Sunshine Stars 3-0, while Enyimba fought back to earn a 1-1 draw against Niger Tornadoes.
