Muani insists on Juventus move despite interest from Premier League

France international, Randal Kolo Muani has made a permanent move to Juventus his top priority this summer despite strong interest from Premier League clubs.

Last season, Muani spent it on loan in Turin after joining from Paris Saint-Germain and he became an instant hit and loved by the club fans.

Writing on his official X handle, football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano shed more light on the ongoing transfer interest from Juventus and the player’s stance on his possible next destination.

He revealed:

“Juventus keep working on Randal Kolo Muani deal… as player still wants Juve as priority despite calls from UK.

“Understand Juventus could also discuss a permanent deal or loan with obligation with PSG, instead of loan with option to buy.”

Muani enjoyed a fine half season with Juventus, having joined the club in January and still scored ten goals, and recorded three assists in the 22 games for the Old Lady’s. Now, the Turin lords are keen to even sell striker Dusan Vlahovic so they can have enough financial muscle to make their plan happen.

However, they’ve been unable to get rid of Vlahovic with the striker being linked with Manchester United and AC Milan. The Serbian would need to take a huge pay cut if he is to make a move away from Juventus this summer.

Softfootball understands that Muani has had interest from Aston Villa and Tottenham in the Premier League but wants to wait for Juventus. The Serie A giants are pushing hard for his service but need to reach an agreement with PSG.

The French champions rejected Juve’s proposal for another loan spell as they insisted on a straight sale. After weeks of negotiations, they are now willing to accept a loan deal but it must come with an obligation to buy.

Muani’s goals helped Juventus finish fourth in the Series A last season and qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
