Everton manager David Moyes has called on his players to start collecting more points as they battle to secure their Premier League survival.
The Toffees earned a dramatic 2-2 draw against Liverpool at Goodison Park after James Tarkowski scored a late equaliser in the Merseyside derby.
Despite the valuable point, Moyes knows Everton must turn more of their performances into victories if they are to avoid being dragged into a relegation battle.
I wish it did. We need to pick up points regularly between now and the end of the season,
Moyes said.
The Everton boss acknowledged that the squad still lacks quality in certain areas and has also been affected by injuries. However, he remains hopeful that some injured players will soon return and strengthen his options.
The draw against Liverpool provided a major boost, but Moyes will expect his side to build on the result in their remaining fixtures.
