French captain Kylian Mbappe has been named Real Madrid’s Player of the Month for September following a brilliant run of performances for the Spanish giants.
Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid in the summer, beat Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, Dani Carvajal, and Eder Militao to the award after making a strong impact in attack.

The former Paris Saint-Germain forward was in excellent form throughout the month, scoring in all five matches he was available for. He found the net twice against Real Betis and also scored against Real Sociedad, Stuttgart, Espanyol, and Alaves.
His impressive form has helped him settle quickly into life at the Santiago Bernabeu, where expectations have been high since his arrival. Overall, the 25-year-old has now recorded seven goals and one assist in 11 appearances for Real Madrid.
The award is another sign of Mbappe’s growing influence in Carlo Ancelotti’s team. In August, the prize was won by Uruguay midfielder Federico Valverde, but Mbappe’s consistency in September made him the standout choice this time around.
The Frenchman’s achievement also comes after he confirmed his full recovery from a recent knee injury scare. His return to full fitness will be a major boost for Real Madrid as they continue to compete strongly in both domestic and European competitions.
Mbappe’s leadership qualities have also been praised by his teammates. Real Madrid goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois recently hailed the forward’s mentality, saying Mbappe is now showing the character of a true leader.

With his goals, confidence, and growing presence in the dressing room, Mbappe is already proving to be one of Real Madrid’s most important players. His September award reflects not only his scoring form but also the leadership and maturity he has brought to the team.
