France international Kylian Mbappé has tipped his club Real Madrid to win the UEFA Champions League, Softfootball reports.

The 26-year-old has never won the top European club title which has eluded him from his time at AS Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and even with the Los Blancos last season. The 15-time European Champion were eliminated by Arsenal in the quarter finals.

Football expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle shared an interview of Mbappe talking about favourite to win the Champions League. He wrote:

Mbappé on Champions League winner: “I always say Real Madrid”.

“There are many good teams in Europe, we saw it last year with the new format. This year will be even better”, told BILD.

Mbappe joined Real Madrid last season as a free agent from Ligue 1 giant PSG. His former manager Mauricio Pochettino claims that Mbappe has always wanted to win the UCL.

The former Monaco forward has won the FIFA World Cup and multiple league titles but never the UEFA Champions League. Unfortunately, after he left PSG, they won the competition in the following season.

PSG developed a new Frontline of Desire Doue, Ousmane Dembélé, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Bradley Barcola. They were a dynamic quartet and slayed teams enroute to winning the tournament.

At the knockout phase when they lost the first leg to Liverpool. They kept their calm and manager, Luis Enrique believed that they can tune it around.

PSG went to Anfield and took the game to the Reds and at the end of the day they came out on tops. That win gave them a massive belief. And when they got to the final against Inter Milan, they produced one of the greatest UCL final performances ever.

PSG dismantled Inter 5-0 to lift the Champions League for the first time in their history as Mbappe watched from home. It was a beautiful sight for PSG fans who lost hope when Mbappe left but the hierarchy believed in Coach Enrique and he duly delivered.

Mbappe is currently with the French national team as they participate in the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
