Bayern Munich extended their flawless start to the Bundesliga season with a commanding 4-0 victory over Werder Bremen at the Allianz Arena on Friday evening, Softfootball reports.
Harry Kane scored a brace, coupled with strikes from Jonathan Tah and Konrad Laimer helped the Bavarians extend their unbeaten run in the league.

Into the game, Coach Vincent Kompany maintained his regular attacking force of trio, Kane, Olise and Luiz Diaz against Bremen at the Allianz Arena.
Meanwhile, the Bavarian giants asserted their authority from the outset, and it was centre-back Jonathan Tah who broke the deadlock in the 22nd minute.
Tah flicked into the net Olise’s corner, which may have taken a slight touch off Werder defender Diaz.
From that point forward, the hosts controlled proceedings with poise and attacking verve.
England captain Harry Kane then doubled Bayern’s advantage from the spot just as he did against Hoffenheim last Saturday, calmly slotting home a penalty he had earned himself.
In the 59th minute, Kane struck again, firing past Arsenal loanee Hein, who was making his Bremen debut. Despite Hein’s string of impressive saves that kept the scoreline from becoming more embarrassing for the visitors, he could not prevent Kane from writing his name into the history books.
That goal marked Kane’s 100th strike for Bayern Munich, achieved in just 104 matches, making him the fastest player ever to reach a century of goals for a club in Europe’s top five leagues.
Bayern Munich celebrated Kane on his milestone via their official X handle after the game.

Konrad Laimer added a late fourth in the 87th minute to complete the rout, capping off the hosts’ performances.
Bayern’s eighth straight win keeps them firmly at the summit of the Bundesliga, having taken maximum points from their opening five league fixtures.

Kompany’s men now look ahead to upcoming domestic clashes with Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund, but not before a Champions League trip to Cyprus to face Pafos. As for Werder Bremen, their hunt for a second league win of the season continues, with a more favourable fixture against St. Pauli awaiting them next week.
