Villarreal make the trip to Andalusia this midweek aiming to build on their bright start to the season and extend their good run against Sevilla, but they’ll need to solve a familiar problem winning away from home, Softfootball reports.
Sevilla’s campaign has been full of ups and down so far. They’ve collected seven points from five games, which is better than many expected, but home fans haven’t had much to cheer about. Dropping points to Getafe, and Elche means the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán hasn’t been the fortress it once was, with only one home league win in their last 12 games.
Villarreal, meanwhile, have done most of their work at La Cerámica, where nine of their ten points so far have come, with their biggest victory coming against getafe in a 5- 0 thrashing.
Away from home, it’s been a different story, losing 2-0 to a winless Altetico Madrid side, and a 1-1 draw at Celta Vigo which the closest they’ve come to wining away this season. Facing Sevilla will be their biggest test yet after what has been a relatively soft run of fixtures to open the campaign.
Villarreal will take confidence from recent history, having beaten Sevilla in their last three league meetings, including a double over them last season.

Sevilla forward Isaac Romero has been the man in form, already scoring four league goals this year, with his side unbeaten whenever he finds the net. Pape Gueye is another threat, though most of his goals come at home.
