Manuel Neuer is expected to stay at Bayern for one more season and sign a new contract soon! The negotiations are already underway, agreement at final stages. Bayern informed agents of goalkeepers being offered that they plan with Neuer staying barring any surprise.

The update comes shortly after Bayern’s dramatic exit from the UEFA Champions League following a thrilling semi-final clash against Paris Saint-Germain. PSG secured qualification for the final after a tense 1–1 draw in the second leg, completing a 6–5 aggregate victory.

Softfootball understands that the French champions will now face Arsenal in the Champions League final in Budapest on May 30 after Arsenal overcame Atlético Madrid in the other semi-final.

Despite Bayern’s elimination, Neuer once again delivered impressive performances throughout the campaign, producing crucial saves and demonstrating the experience that has made him one of football’s most respected goalkeepers. His displays in Europe have reinforced Bayern’s confidence in extending his stay at the club.

As captain and long-serving legend, Neuer continues to play a major leadership role both on and off the pitch. The expected extension reflects Bayern’s trust in his quality and influence, even at the age of 40.

The agreement, once finalized, will further extend the career of one of the modern game’s most iconic goalkeepers as Bayern continue balancing experience with long-term squad planning.
