Manchester United shared on its official X handle the starting lineup to face Everton in their final match of the Premier League Summer Series in Atlanta, USA.

See the lineup below:

Mbeumo did not feature in the recent matches against West Ham and Bournemouth where the Red Devils won 2-1 and 4-1 respectively due to his pre-season training beginning later than other players.

The Man United new number 19 has been working hard on his fitness throughout pre-season and he is now set for his first taste of competitive action in a United short.

Mbeumo always wanted to join Manchester United despite other clubs interested in signing him. After his former manager Thomas Frank signed for Tottenham Hotspur, he tried to lure the Cameroonian to Spurs but he refused.

It was the same for Newcastle United as Mbeumo stayed patient waiting for Manchester United. The Red Devils saw two bids rejected initially by Brentford. Mbeumo didn’t lose hope as he went ahead to agree to personal terms before Manchester United struck a £71 million deal with the Bees for his services.

Tonight’s debut will be the first time Mbeumo will turnout for Manchester United and he would hope to cap it up with a victory. Manchester United will begin their new Premier League season with a match against Arsenal at Old Trafford on August 17.
