Manchester United have identified a possible replacement for Cameroon goalkeeper, Andre Onana and are ready to finalise a deal this summer.
Softfootball understands that the player in question is Senne Lammens and the fee is close to €20m as negotiations are already in it’s advance stages.

According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano via his official X handle informed that Manchester United are looking to wrap up a deal for the Belgian as quickly as possible after manager Ruben Amorim asked for a new man in goal.
Fabrizio said:
“More on Senne Lammens and Man United story revealed today.
“Talks are well underway with Royal Antwerp on transfer fee close to €20m, negotiations advancing.
“Lammens said yes to Man United, no talks with Man City as their target is Gigio Donnarumma… if Éderson leaves.”
Earlier today, Fabrizio had reported that the Red Devils are very interested in the services of the Royal Antwerp goal. Although, the goalkeeper is still 23-year-old, he is already very mature and calm in goal and his abilities to stop penalties are eye-catching.
Fabrizio revealed:
“Understand Manchester United are still working on deal to sign Senne Lammens, talks underway.
“Personal terms are almost agreed and Man United are in active talks for the Belgian goalkeeper.
“#MUFC try to anticipate more clubs from France and Italy, also based on exits.”
Last season’s number one for Manchester United, Andre Onana was not even listed on the match-day squad despite being fit after returning from injury as Turkish international Altay Bayindir was given the nod by Ruben Amorim while Tom Heaton was on the bench.
Amorim seems to want another goalkeeper desperately and although he would’ve preferred Portuguese goalkeeper Diogo Costa, the hierarchy at Manchester United prefer a cheaper option in Lammens.
The Red Devils lost 1-0 to Arsenal last week with Altay Bayindir in goal via a goalkeeping error but Amorim looks set to stick by the goalkeeper despite the return of Onana.
Manchester United’s next match will be against Fulham and it will be interesting to see who will be in goal for the Red Devils. The transfer window closes on September 1, enough time for the club to get a new goalkeeper in.
