Manchester United have made official contact with Bundesliga side, RB Leipzig over highly rated striker, Benjamin Šeško, Softfootball reports.
The 22-year-old has been a long-term target for the Red Devils as they have scouted him for almost three transfer windows.

According to football expert, Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United are keen to beat all competitions for the striker and would try convince the player to join the club.
Fabrizio wrote on his official X handle:
“Manchester United have informed RB Leipzig that they are prepared to send formal bid for Benjamin Šeško, if player accepts the destination.
“Newcastle also ready to bid since last week and to match Šeško’s financial request.
“Decision up to Šeško 🇸🇮”
Šeško made 33 appearances for RB Leipzig last season, scoring 13 goals with five assists. Those are not the numbers for a prolific striker but a developing player that can become a huge star in future.
Coach of the Mancunians, Ruben Amorim wants a striker of Premier League experience that can help his current side after the finished last season in 15th position and were the lowest scorers in the competition.
The manager is hoping to have an upgrade to the likes of Joshua Zirkzee and Ramus Hojlund after they both disappointed last season scoring just three and four goals respectively.
However, Manchester United’s recruitment director Christopher Vivell is pushing strongly for the club to sign Benjamin Šeško while Amorim would prefer Ollie Watkins this summer.
Watkins at 29, may cause Manchester United £60 million with a year left on his contract while 22-year-old Šeško may cost the Red Devils around €70-80million.
Both players are reportedly happy to join Manchester United even without having UEFA Champions League football or any European competition next season.
Whenever player they sign, manager Amorim will love to have a new striker at the club before their first match of the new season against Arsenal at Old Trafford on August 17.
