After Paris Saint-Germain defeated Arsenal home and away, and also got results against Chelsea, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City, Softfootball believes this dominance could eventually be ended by Manchester United.

Now that United have qualified for the 2026/27 Champions League, there is belief among fans that this current United side under Michael Carrick has the identity, intensity, and mentality of the Premier League.

Carrick’s United have already defeated teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, Liverpool, and Aston Villa. Looking at those performances, many fans believe United could match PSG’s intensity better than other EPL sides.

Softfootball also believes United’s style, technical quality, and attacking approach could create problems for PSG. The combination of Carrick’s tactical ideas and the creativity of Bruno Fernandes is seen as one of the reasons supporters are optimistic.

Statistically, United’s recent form under Carrick has also impressed many observers, with the club scoring goals consistently and reducing defeats compared to previous seasons.

For now, this remains football debate and prediction, but one thing is certain, a potential Manchester United vs PSG Champions League clash would be one of the biggest matches in Europe next season.
