Premier League giants, Manchester United have celebrated the duo of Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo as they represent Cameroon and Ivory Coast respectively at the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), Softfootball reports.
Both players faced each other on Sunday night in the match-day 2 of the tournament as Cameroon and Ivory Coast played out a 1-1 draw to go joint top of Group F with four points each and same goals difference. Amad got his second goal of the tournament in that game with a beautiful curled shot from the edge of the box to give his side the lead before the Indomitable Lions equalised late in the first half.

Manchester United currently preparing for their final match of 2025 against Wolves at Old Trafford on Tuesday celebrated the players via their official X handle. They posted:
🤝Bryan Mbeumo and Amad Diallo faced one another at AFCON on Sunday, as Cameroon drew 1-1 with the Ivory Coast.

Interestingly, Amad was named Man-of-the-Match in Ivory Coast’s first game of the tournament where he scored the winner with his weaker right foot to give his side a 1-0 victory over Mozambique while Mbeumo was also instrumental in Cameroon’s 1-0 win over Gabon as he provided the assist.
Cameroon will play their final Group F match against Mozambique while Ivory Coast will face Gabon on Wednesday as both countries seek to qualify for the round of 16.
