Premier League giants, Manchester United has celebrated their player, Amad Diallo after helping Ivory Coast reach the African Cup of Nation (AFCON) quarter finals, Softfootball reports.
The former Atalanta youngster was in blistering form on Tuesday night, scoring one and assisting one as Ivory Coast beat Burkina Faso 3-0 in the competition’s round of 16 clash.

Manchester United celebrated the player via their official X handle after his heroics for his country. They posted a picture with the following caption:

Goal ✅Assist ✅ Player of the Match ✅. It was a successful night for @AmadDiallo_19 at AFCON, as the Ivory Coast progressed into the quarter-finals👏.
Amad Diallo, who was named Man of the Match against Mozambique in Ivory Coast’s opening match of the tournament was again voted the match’s MVP after his game winning performance against Burkina Faso on Tuesday.
The defending champions will continue their quest for back-to-back TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) titles when they face Egypt in a tantanliasing fixture on Saturday in Agadir.

Amad will also have time to watch Manchester United play for the first time under a new manager this evening against Burnley in the Match-Day 21 of the Premier League. The Red Devils sacked Ruben Amorim on Tuesday and immediately made club legend, Darren Fletcher an interim manager.
