AC Milan have completed the signing of England international Kyle Walker from Manchester City on a loan deal that includes an option to make the move permanent this summer.

The Serie A giants confirmed the transfer after Walker successfully completed his medical and signed his contract in Milan. The experienced full-back will wear the No. 32 shirt during his time with the Rossoneri.

Softfootball understands Walker rejected interest from several clubs before choosing Milan, believing the move offers him the best opportunity to continue competing at the highest level.

Walker arrives after an outstanding eight-year spell at Manchester City, where he played 319 matches and helped the club win 17 major trophies, including six Premier League titles and the UEFA Champions League in 2023.

The 34-year-old reportedly requested a fresh challenge after falling down the pecking order at the Etihad Stadium. AC Milan will cover his wages throughout the loan period and could secure his permanent signature if he performs well during the second half of the season.
