No country achieves sporting excellence without deliberate funding systems. I invite corporate Ghana to view this, not as charity, but as a partnership in national development.

Funding sport activities really helps in building and maintaining the stadiums, tracks, and gyms that serve as the “classrooms” for athletes. This action encourages the athletes and give them the notion that they are always supported and loved. Also, it gives room to encourage young talents and the upcoming athletes .
President John Mahama have fore seen what funding can help the sports activities achieve that why he is urging the corporate Ghana to back the Sports Fund:
Meanwhile softfootball has earlier reported Mikel Obi calling for urgent reform while urging players and fans to remain focused ahead of Thursday’s crucial World Cup playoff clash against Gabon. Even though there are controversy surrounding FIFA’s reported $1.2 million grant to the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) for stadium development, funds many fans and pundits claim have been mismanaged.
As important training is good for sports athletes, it is also very important that they are supported financially in order for them to be taken care of before and after sports activities, also for getting every material needed to perform effectively. These will really assist the urgent rehabilitation of the Accra, Kumasi, and Tamale national stadia to meet FIFA standards
