Luis Diaz is set to join Bayern Munich after the German champions agreed a deal worth 75m euro including add-ons with Liverpool. The winger will arrive today in Munich and he’s set to complete medical on Tuesday.
The Reds rejected an initial bid of £58.6m from Bayern for the Colombian forward earlier this month. Softfootball can confirm that Diaz has been given permission to leave Liverpool’s pre-season tour of Asia in order to complete a medical with Bayern.

The 28-year-old arrived at Anfield from Porto in a deal worth an initial £37m in January 2022 and has scored 41 goals in 148 appearances, including 13 as the Reds won the Premier League title last season.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, he shared on his X handle that the new Bayern winger will arrive today in Munich and he’s set to complete medical on Tuesday. The tweet reads:
“Plan confirmed for Luis Diaz: new Bayern winger will arrive today in Munich and he’s set to complete medical on Tuesday.
“Four year deal to be signed in next 24h”.
Luis Díaz’s imminent arrival provides Bayern Munich with a high-quality replacement for Jamal Musiala who has been sidelined for an extended period after suffering a broken leg and dislocated ankle during the just concluded Club World Cup. The Colombian winger’s signing comes as a timely boost for the Bavarian giants.
Diaz’s departure is part of a wider shake-up at Liverpool under Arne Slot this summer. The Merseyside club have already brought in Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike and are chasing Alexander Isak as a possible addition.
With Darwin Nunez also potentially on the move, Liverpool’s attack could boast a very different look in 2025/26 as they prepare their Premier League title defence.
Defenders Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez arrived from Leverkusen and Bournemouth respectively, while goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili joined from Valencia.
