Bayer Leverkusen manager, Kasper Hjulmand gave five new signings a starting place in his first match in-charge since replacing Erik Ten Hag, Softfootball reports.
Leverkusen host Frankfurt at the Bay Arena and Hjulmand has handed former Real Madrid winger Lucas Vázquez his first competitive appearance for the club.

Hjulmand who was appointed by Levekusen during the international break will be hoping to deliver his first three points for home fans.

For Frankfurt, Mario Götze is already confirmed out as he hasn’t recovered fully from injury but the big news from the away side’s perspective is the return of striker Jonathan Burkardt, who leads the line.
Frankfurt manager, Dino Toppmöller also gave starts to Ritsu Dōan, Can Uzun and Jean-Mattéo Bahoya but Hugo Larsson is out with a stomach bug.
