Liverpool has confirmed that defender Conor Bradley is out for the rest of the season with a knee injury, Softfootball reports.

Since the departure of Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid, Bradley has been the preferred right back for Arne Slot’s side and unfortunately picked an injury during Liverpool’s goalless draw against Arsenal last week Thursday.

The Reds released a statement via their official X handle about the extent of Bradley’s injury and possible time he will return. The statement read:

Liverpool FC can confirm Conor Bradley has sustained a significant knee injury. The right-back suffered the issue in the latter stages of Thursday night’s Premier League fixture away at Arsenal. Bradley will undergo surgery in the coming days and then begin a period of rehabilitation at the AXA Training Centre. No timeframe is being placed on his return to playing at this stage of the process.

Bradley, who claimed he used to pretend to be Steven Gerrard in a recent interview, the legendary Liverpool Captain will be missed by the Reds as they fight to retain their premier league crown this season.

Liverpool’s right back position has been occupied by midfielder, Hungarian captain, Dominik Szoboszlai when Bradley or Joe Gomez is not available but with the return of former Bayer Leverkusen’s defender Jeremie Frimpong from injury, he is expected to cover that position permanently.

Liverpool are currently fourth on the premier league table with 35 points after 21 matches so far this season.
